American Inventor

In-Brella

By  |

The In-brella

is an umbrella that folds up inward into its own handle. Sheryl made it past 10,000 other inventors to get into the finals. With some clever engineering Sheryl and her team hope to have the inbrella available on store shelves.

The In-brella (originally the un-brella) inventor, Sheryl McDonald, 41, is a former airline service agent from Van Nuys, California. Sheryl and her partner Denise were recently married in Hawaii and are the loving parents of four dogs. Sheryl was inspired to create the Un-brella out of frustration with regular umbrellas, which scratched her car and were difficult to close.” – bio
